A local Chinese community composed of both Chinese speaking and English speaking members requested we design a new ground up building to accommodate their growing faith community.
Our modern church project spans 24,000 square feet of new construction on a three-parcel lot in Monterey Park, California. It features educational facilities, two sanctuaries, a baptismal pool, two full kitchens, a dining hall, a bridal suite, lobbies, and offices for church staff.
Sustainability is at the forefront of our design, incorporating solar panels, hidden cove lighting, and exterior shades to keep the interior cool during warmer months. The operable clerestory windows allow hot air to escape, further reducing reliance on mechanical systems.
